The 3rd Euro-Mediterranean Conference for Environmental Integration (EMCEI 2021) enjoyed the virtual (online) participation of 400 scientists from more than 50 countries. The 3rd EMCEI proceedings gives a general and brief overview on current research focusing on emerging environmental issues and challenges and its applications to a variety of problems in the Euro-Mediterranean zone and surrounding regions. It contains over three hundred and fifty carefully refereed short contributions to the conference.
